Makes approximately 12 meringues
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
3 Egg whites
6 tbs aspertame
METHOD:
Preheat the oven to 150 deg C
Beat the egg whites until very stiff. Sprinkle the sweetener over the egg whites. Beat for about 30 seconds. Divide mixture into small piles on a baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes
Notes:
*So the egg whites remain stiff, only add the sweetener once the egg whites are already stiff
*For Chocolate and Coffee Meringues: Add 2tsp fat reduced cocoa to sweetener before you sprinkle it. Then add 2 tsp instant coffee and mix. (preferably not during Attack phase)
